All about the man, the myth, the legend, Tex Jernigan.

This is written in third-person because someone needed a bio to copy and paste :D

Tex Jernigan is a creator and digital strategist based in Brooklyn, NY.

He runs ARKO, a creative studio that helps companies—especially in architecture, fabrication, and design—grow their business online through photography, video, and custom web tools. He’s also the force behind TaperCraft, a website for designing old media formats like VHS and Cassette tapes. And he spent that past decade creating projects like Flagthousand, a visual project mapping over 900 flags from around the world (and counting).

Tex has been building on the internet since 1997, when he started making websites and Photoshopping for fun. He studied sculpture at KCAI and began his career at Artworks KC followed by a transformative marketing role at Zahner, where he helped reimagine how the company presented its architectural metalwork to the world.

He approaches project with a sculptor’s eye for form and a strategist’s sense of scale. When he’s not building something physical or digital, he’s usually enjoying Bushwick with his wife, three kids, and a stroller-mounted 5-camera bullet-time rig.

He was also in a short film when he was three. Still making movies.
