What We Collect

WordPress & Hosting

texs.org runs on WordPress. The hosting provider may automatically log standard server data such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited. This data is used for security and site maintenance and is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

Comments

If you leave a comment on texs.org, WordPress collects the data shown in the comment form (your name, email address, and optionally your website URL), along with your IP address and browser user-agent string. This information is used to detect spam and display your comment.

An anonymized hash of your email address may be sent to the Gravatar service to check if you have a profile image. The Gravatar privacy policy is available at automattic.com/privacy.

Cookies

texs.org may set the following cookies:

  • WordPress cookies — If you leave a comment, WordPress saves your name, email, and website in cookies for your convenience so you don’t have to re-enter them on future comments. These expire after one year.
  • Authentication cookie — A shared authentication cookie (texs_auth) may be set with the domain .texs.org if you are logged in on a related subdomain (vhs.texs.org or whatfont.texs.org). This cookie is HttpOnly, Secure, and used solely to maintain your login state across texs.org subdomains. texs.org itself does not read or use this cookie.

Analytics

texs.org does not currently use any analytics or tracking services.

Embedded Content

Pages on this site may include embedded content (e.g., videos, images, links). Embedded content from other websites behaves the same as if you visited those sites directly and may collect data, use cookies, and track your interaction.

How We Use Your Data
